The client wanted to subdivide their existing wide lot into two lots with a semi-detached house. The client would live in one of the new units.

 

V+A provided a design with as few zoning variances as possible. We guided the client through the approvals process.

 

The design carefully considers site features and provides each home with unobstructed views to the beautiful lot. Considerations about the existing landscape largely dictated program placement. Open concept spaces further allow for light to penetrate into the building and reinforce the relationship to the site.
