V+A has completed a design for a semi-detached residence in Toronto’s Dufferin Grove neighborhood. The home is comprised of two stacked units.

The basement and ground level are designed for one tenant, whilst the second and third levels would accommodate a second tenant. The new facade relates to the surrounding context in proportion, but introduces new materials in order to give the home a contemporary appearance. Portions of the existing facade remain in order to relate to its immediate neighbour.
